Artemis have been involved in proposals for Boughton Pocket Park's improved play area from Stage 2 of the Playbuilder application, creating visuals suggesting a 'look and feel' for the proposals to accompany the application.

Having been successfully selected, and awarded just under £50,000 from Playbuilder, designs have been carried forward, and were presented last week to a Playbuilder Review Panel. Carol Jones, NCC's Playbuilder Project Manager commented,

"The work that Artemis has already undertaken looks great and it is looking a very exciting and challenging project."

A funding agreement has now been issued, and work is continuing with the hope of having a new scheme in place by the end of the year.

The Pocket Park are also applying for a Community Spaces grant for environmental improvements to the Park, including a perimeter pathway to increase access and to improve the large pond.

Artemis are working in conjunction with the River Nene Regional Park on the project, and all planning is being carried out in close partnership with the Boughton Pocket Park Committee who have held extensive consultations to inform the proposals, and have also held a number of fund-raising events to support the project.
