River Nene Regional Park (RNRP)
Consultancy Work and Initial Design Concepts, Feasibility Studies, Masterplanning and Outline Business Planning

Artemis has worked as consultants for the River Nene Regional Park (RNRP) www.rnrp.org since its inception in 2004. RNRP is an independent Community Interest Company creating a green infrastructure network of environmental projects extending from Daventry to Peterborough linking the towns of Northampton, Towcester, Wellingborough, Kettering and Corby. Artemis’ continued areas of work includes development of project and business plans; coordination of a masterplan for the International Festival of the Garden; Heritage Lottery Fund Landscape Partnerships planning grant application; Community Engagement and Event/ Workshop Organisation; ongoing research and development of RNRP Signature projects; project portfolios, coordination and design of the biannual RNRP publication, ‘SPACE’; coordination and design of the RNRP website and general support and development within the RNRP team of overall project work.
Most recently Artemis has been involved in the RNRP's input into the restoration of the Watermeadows, part of Towcester's Moat Lane regeneration project. Artemis and the RNRP carried out assessments of the ecology, history, archaeology and landscape character of the site, working closely with the Environment Agency, in order to propose an exciting, yet sensitive scheme allowing public access into this green oasis in the centre of Towcester and the busy Moat Lane area.
